Conference: Cyber Security & Privacy Challenges for Law Enforcement
The aim of this conference is to bring together experts from policy, the industry and academia on a unique opportunity to exchange views on current policy issues and initiatives that intersect cyber security, privacy and law enforcement. Current and emerging technologies will be analysed from an application, organisational and legal view point in the wake of new compliance requirements laid out in recently promulgated legislation. Cross-border cooperation, exercising rights, exchanging information, in the EU and beyond will be emphasised throughout this conference. Policy initiatives will be put under the spotlight in lively discussions with an eager audience. Presentations are going to be suitably complemented with a panel discussions that will bundle together the conclusions of this Conference.

Heraklion Chamber of Commerce and
Industry (HCCI), Koroneou st. 9, 712 02, Heraklion, Greece.
HCCI makes available the
auditorium and two break out rooms in its premises in a listed building in
Heraklion city centre. The auditorium has a capacity of 200 PAX (theatre
shaped), the large meeting room has capacity of 40 PAX (U–shaped) and there is
a smaller room available for 10 PAX. The HHCI venue allows for great
flexibility to participants who may choose from a range of 6 hotels (3*-5*)
across the city centre (5-10’ walking distance from venue).
Organisers
CySPLE15 is co-organised by the
European Union Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) and the Heraklion
Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI), Heraklion, Greece. ENISA supports the
program and policy content of this conference; it will also make reasonable
contributions to the communications plan. HCCI support all organisational
aspects and logistics support. Revenue is collected to the benefit of HCCI that
manages the finances of this Conference.
